"Adele Island, Tasman Bay"

Inspired by the beautiful coastline of Nelson, New Zealand, this artwork captures a special little piece of home. Adele Island sits peacefully in the turquoise waters of Tasman Bay, surrounded by the vibrant blues of the ocean and the lush greens of the island. The sandy shoreline brings everything together, creating a scene that feels bright, calm and full of life.

I wanted to bring the natural beauty of this coastline to life through colour and texture. The island features a raised, 3D textured finish, giving the landscape depth and dimension, while real sand adds an extra layer of texture and a beautiful connection to the beach itself.

For me, this piece is a celebration of the places that stay with us — the familiar coastlines, the colours of the ocean and those little moments in nature that make us stop and appreciate where we are.

A little reminder of New Zealand’s natural beauty, this artwork brings a sense of warmth, calm and coastal charm into any space.
